[0/7] 𧡠#ICT in When to Avoid London Sessions .
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
1/7 - After a large range day.
If in the previous session there was a large expansion of the daily range twice as large as the ADR, the London session will probably be confusing and very noisy.

2/7 - After 3 daily closes up or down.
If we have 3 daily closes up, you should avoid Longs and vice versa. Typically you will have a deeper retracement creating a close in the opposite direction or a long wick intraday for the continuation of the 3 closes trend.

3/7 - After an FOMC event.
If this event produced extreme volatility/whipsaw it will likely mess with the London session. Generally, FOMC events occur at the end of NYKZ or at 2:00 pm NY time. Probably whipsaw will screw up the CBDR as well as the Asian session.

4/7 - NFP Friday.
In case the market is waiting for the Non-Farm Payroll numbers. Most likely you will be looking at noise and not institutional order flow.

5/7 - Days before long holidays.
Most likely days that anticipate long holidays will be calm days and without much action, as traders and bankers are leaving the office early for travel and related activities.

6/7 - Days that have a lot of red folder news.
If the day has a lot of red and orange folders that could impact the market, you probably won't put your hard-earned money on any trades in that particular market, as the price action will be sloppy and not fluid.

7/7 - Recent expansions.
Two particular cases. If CBDR is more than 50 pips and if the Asian range has been greater than 40 pips or if one of the two is not obviously consolidating (Trending) you will immediately skip the London session and come back for a good night's sleep.
