Judging others could be destroying your mindset and awareness.
Here are 8 reasons why:
-Thread-
β€’ Lack of Understanding
The more you judge people, the more you think you know and the less you actually know.
You'll never truly understand people unless you stop judging them.
Understanding how people think can open many doors in life.
β€’ Lack of Information
Most of the time you have judged a situation without knowing the whole story.
It's important to give benefit of the doubt until you know all facts.
If you believe everything that's only 'likely' you'll be fooling yourself.
β€’ Everyone is Different
The only thing that everyone has in common is that they're all different.
If you assume everyone is the same, you'll never be able to see past that, making you ignorant to how people really are.
β€’ Appearances are Often Deceptive
When meeting people for the first time we always make a judgment based on their appearances.
But how you appear really says very little about who you are.
Wealthy people often don't splash their money on expensive things, for example.
β€’ It Defines You.
It might sound like a clichΓ©, but judging others defines YOU, not the person you're judging.
β€’ It Puts Your Focus on the Wrong Person
If you want to improve your life, you need to concentrate on yourself, not on other people.
How other people live their life need not effect how you live your own.
Put yourself first.
β€’ Judgement is a Negative Thought.
Positive thoughts attract positive things into your life as negative thoughts attract negative things into your life.
Choose positivity.
β€’ Judgement is More Destructive Than You'll Ever Admit.
We can say we don't care all we like, but judgement hurts and also closes doors.
If you judge, you'll never come to realize the truth behind the overall damage that it does, and will forever be in denial.
