1. Don't ask people how much money they are paid at work. It's part of their privacy and if they wanted, they would have disclosed it to you .
2. Avoid commenting negatively about someone's looks or clothing unless you finance them for it.3
3. When a strange number calls ulyou on phone, take your time and listen to them before responding. If you notice they are cons you can now pull in the 'Garbage in garbage out' rule or simply hang up.
4. When you visit a friends house, avoid "How much did you buy this" questions. They show jealous.
5. As a rule of law, do not interrupt people as they speak and if you have to, be courteous.
6. When asked a question, answer for yourself only. If you are in a crowd, don't assume that everyone has the same opinion. Let it be ' I agree' and not 'we agree'
7. Avoid making the conversation about you. Stick to the topic and keep your problems and achievements to yourself. Talking too much about yourself is oftentimes mistaken for bragging or sympathy seeking.
8. When a stranger approaches you, always talk less and allow them to carry the conversation. It saves you from being manipulated Incase the latter are in for bad intentions.
9. Avoid using a lot of Jargon. We know you understand the language and you want to showcase your prowess but humble down and make it simple and conversational.
10. Talk slowly and confidently while keeping eye contact. Talking too fast sometimes shows lack of confidence in whatever you are saying.
11. Don't over share. Privacy is power.
12. Adress people by their names. Doesn't matter how much you know a person but don't use nicknames in official conversations.
