jordan is right about some thing and wrong about some things in the medgold video tweet, but his biggest blind spot about the people he is thinking about is: they are for the most part teenagers
you dont have to be a literal demon to have a vulgar username online, although i concede that he is right about the vulgarity coming from a place of weakness and self deprication a lot of the time
but in my defence i didnt use to be vulgar, just nonsensical. which is also really the case for cumlasagna, the vulgarity is not really the point. im just very desensitised. the point that it isnt the point, is the point
rich guy with legally binding job security thats literally designed to protect him from getting punched on the nose for what he says, doesnt really understand what "people would punch you on the nose for the things you say" mean to people who dont have that kind of security

for me the vulgarity is not an offensive weapon, but a defensive one. i recognize that i am in hostile territory and living in snitchworld, where every person who sees a tweet might try to delete me, because im a minority they hate
the vulgarity is a barrier to entry for people who "dont get it", people who will read it and be turned off and disgusted and not pay attention just based on that alone, because i think those people probably don't have the stomach for the stuff i really think about
