Therefore, the Hindus too are now in the process of acquiring as much self-conscious identity as is necessary for their survival. Whether they will succeed is another matter.But this has already made the opposed parties with vested interest in a weak Hinduism cry, Hindu Backlash.

Marxist and secularist writers, whose work is convergent with Muslim politics and designs, are full of this cry".
