AD-1 is “Track & Shoot in Air” system!
AD-1 Missile has ability to intercept targets within range of 5,000 km.
The system can detect incoming missiles and shoot them down in the air. In Phase 1 of BMD, DRDO developed ability to destroy missiles within a range of 2,000 km”

Let me explain!
An Endo-atmospheric missile is one that intercepts Enemy Missiles within the earth's atmosphere, i.e. at an altitude below 100 kilometers.

In simple terms...Any Ballistic Missile when launched,1st goes up high in air & then comes down at massive speed to hit target.
If such Missile can go upto highest of 100 kms in atmosphere, it's
comparatively Easy to Track & Destroy in Air with ENDO-atmospheric Missile.

So Now what is Exo-atmospheric Interceptor Missile?
There are certain Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles developed by ONLY Russia, US, China, France, UK, North Korea & BHARAT which don't go upto only 100 kms in Atmosphere.

These Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles go upto 130-150 kms beyond Earth's Atmosphere to re-enter atmosphere at massive speed to hit target.
In short....they enter SPACE to re-enter Earth's atmosphere.
And these are TOO DIFFICULT to Track & Destroy!!!

BUT NOW....Bharat has developed INDIGENOUS Technology to Track & Destroy EVEN THOSE Missiles which enter from Space with it's OWN AD-1 Interceptor Missile System which includes Exo-atmospheric Missiles ALSO!!

AD-1 is Especially designed to intercept Chinese Missiles DF-16,DF-17 & DF-21 with Aircraft Manoeuvring at long range.
Today,China's Xi is pulling hair out of frustration as Bharat has answer for his Missiles,but he doesn't have any for Bharat's Prithvi Ballistic Missiles.

And mind you..Bharat is ONLY 3rd Nation to have this technology. Other 2 are US & Russia. EVEN Israel, France don't have it..Forget China!!

Again let me remind you that Bharat has already successfully conducted A-SAT (Anti-Satellite)Launch Test in March 19.
A-SAT enables Bharat to destroy Enemy's Low-Orbit Satellites which are used to track precise locations before launching Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles

FYI...Pakistan DOESN'T even have own Satellite & uses Chinese Satellites which Bharat can easily destroy in case of War leaving Enemy blindfolded!
