@shardula23 @KritaNishchayah @SunKnight___ “Molten lead” not from MDS but GDS.
The Siddhānta Śaiva text, Śaivabhūṣaṇam gives an interesting explanation for the unique position of Saccchūdras. ++
@shardula23 @KritaNishchayah @SunKnight___ ++ Of course, the caveat is that this deals with a particular class of Sacchūdras i.e. Those who became so through Śaivadīkṣā. It’s as follows:
@shardula23 @KritaNishchayah @SunKnight___ ++ By means of the Dīkṣā (initiation), the soul attains a “second birth”, as it were, in contrast to the Sam̐skāras, which act upon the body, as expressly stated in MDS itself.++
@shardula23 @KritaNishchayah @SunKnight___ ++By virtue of this initiation, even though his body remains unchanged, an initiated asacchūdra now becomes a Sacchūdra & like a Brāhmaṇa strī or Brāhmaṇa yati. How?++
@shardula23 @KritaNishchayah @SunKnight___ ++Both a Brāhmaṇi & Brāhmaṇa Yati have the right to be in the presence of the Veda & Vaidikāgni but face restrictions when it comes to adhyayana/vedajapa or agnikārya. //End
