@MarkPreston1969 Depends on:
* Primary goal/purpose
* Primary audience
* Quantity of competition
* Quality of competition
* Existing strength of site/content
* General organisation/structure of the site
* Whether time is goal critical

You can produce content that aids with conversions,
rather than SEO.
You can target a whole bunch of longer, weaker terms,
and gain footholds all over the place.
You can create with the aim of natural link acquisition over time.
You can build topical authority over time.
@MarkPreston1969 The problem is, most businesses don't want to (or can't afford to) wait for the slow build-up/traction,
and prefer to prioritise money terms.
So tick-tack through the processes.
Money content > User content > Topical content > Related content > Repeat
+ tiny promotion/outreach
@MarkPreston1969 Unless you are tackling a new/weak market,
crappy content is seldom going to acquire natural links,
so you do have to invest in content.
The key is in knowing what the goals of that content are,
who the right audience is etc.
Content for the sake of it is generally pointless.
