You can't send normal candidates to contend with cryptids, especially of the cyber-ogre type. You must send Odysseus or Beowulf, a larger than life slayer of goblins and liminoid nightmares.
You must believe me: "Let's vote for the monster to stick it to the racists" is a very real and constant sentiment on the left.
