1. Although three issues have been highlighted for consideration at the meeting, I dare to say that the Technical Team would welcome creative thinking on other issues that can add value to the work of the Commission.
2. Polling units expansion work was to make the units more accessible to voters & thereby decongest large PUs; You will agree with me that conducting elections in such PUs is fraught with challenges & violence.
3. It is therefore mandatory for us to think out of the box on how to resolve this.
4. In addition, harmonization of information on Polling Units must be laid to rest at this meeting. I wish to suggest that a closer scrutiny be given to the original data submitted from the states after polling unit expansion so as to discover where errors may have arisen.
5. The tendency of procrastination in the collection of PVCs by Nigerian until the last minute must be factored into our preparation for the conduct of the 2023 General Election and should also be examined at this workshop.
6. Ways and means of overcoming this habit must be proffered; such that we would have an effective and efficient system of collection of voter cards.
