If you want to become wealthy before your 39th birthday, you need to know the following truths about money:
Being broke sucks.
FEELING broke will suck the soul right out of you.
As someone who was flat broke to now achieving multi-millionaire status...
It's a whirlwind of emotions.
And there are times you'll want to give up.
DON'T.
Here's 7 truths you need to remember:
1. Opportunities will ALWAYS exist
There are two mindsets:
* Abundance mindset
* Scarcity mindset
You can find opportunities even during tough times during a pandemic if you are open to them.
A good friend of mine was a professional speaker BEFORE the pandemic...
He spoke over 150 times per year.
That quickly turned to 0.
Yes: ZERO.
Did he go out bankrupt? Not even.
He pivoted and created a coaching business showing speakers how to paid giving virtual talks.
This generated MILLIONS during a global pandemic.
2. Be the SOLUTION. Not the problem
Figuring out what people are struggling with and finding solutions will make you a ton of money
It also adds a sense of fulfillment
Just like my friend above
It's also why Instacart'ers began making $100k+
A problem needed to be fixed.
Great ideas are sexy.
And they have their place.
But sometimes a good businesses is built from solving a simple problem.
3. Remember that everything is negotiable
The important thing is to ask for what you want
The worst thing you can be told is no
Be willing to ask or you’ll never get a yes
Negotiating can get you:
* Price cuts
* Salary increases
* Higher revenue
* More time off
* Extra perks
If you struggle with negotiating read this:
4. Lean on your network
I repeat: “Your network is your net worth"
Growing your network is key to success in any field.
Networking isn’t sleazy if you’re doing it to help and serve others.
Provide them value instead of exclusively taking from others.
The more people you know, the more opportunities will come your way.
Make a goal to meet new people and expand your professional circle.
You never know who you might meet or what opportunities might come your way!
5. Prepare for the worst, but live for the best
The stock market will tank.
You'll go through several more recessions in your life.
Be ready for them but do NOT live in fear.
Take note how millionaires prepare for the "worst".
My preparation has been to:
1) Reinvest in my business
2) Take inventory of my wins
3) Consult other self-made millionaires to see what steps they’re taking.
Once again why building a solid network is crucial.
6. Learn how money REALLY works

Just be open and willing to learn.
Which means you accept you don't know everything about money.
