Why is it forbidden in the scriptures to see the back of Krishna/Deities?

In the Vedic and Puranic scriptures of Sanatan Dharma, many instructions related to worship have been given.

When Lord Krishna was running away, Kalayavan also started following him. Shri Krishna ran away from the battlefield because the reason for this was only that the virtuous deeds of Kalayavan's previous births were very high and Lord Shri Krishna did not punish

anyone as long as the strength of his virtuous deeds remained (this also proves that No matter how many sins a sinner keeps on committing, he is not punished until the merits of his previous births are exhausted.

Kalyan mistook King Muchukunda for Shri Krishna. He lifted it and as soon as King Muchukund saw it, Kalayavan was burnt to ashes. Therefore, one should not have darshan of the Lord's back, because it destroys the effect of virtue and increases unrighteousness in the person.
