listen to the voice of your womb to be free from dis-ease.
treating your womb with disrespect & zero sacredness can result in womb related dis-eases. not everything is *just* physical. our bodies mirror our inner thoughts, our unprocessed trauma. the same applies to our wombs.
the womb is the gateway of all human life. the womb creates life. the womb is a channel of power & creativity when it is honoured.
when the messages of the womb go unheard, denied, the womb becomes a vessel of dis-ease.
most illnesses are created in the body due to constant negative mental patterns, unresolved trauma, suppressing emotions deep into our bodies without letting them go. our bodies, our organs hold on to these emotions & after some time turn them into physical dis-eases.
just like that, when a womb is not cared for, dis-eases can manifest. the condition of a woman’s womb reflect the conditions of her mind, actions and her Spirit. remember, the mind-body-spirit connection is real.
look at the condition of our wombs statistically. womb related dis-eases such as chronic menstrual pain, infertility, fibroids are on the rise. could it be because of the deep disconnection of a woman from her womb?
your womb records everything you go through. the men, the drugs, the artificial hormones, the abortions, the miscarriages, everything. the pain, the criticisms, the abuse, the womb misses nothing. the womb senses our love for it, or if we have no care for it.
so maybe it’s time for you to start honouring your womb. to treat it with love. to listen to your womb. your womb has been with you from birth. pay attention to your womb’s messages, patterns & wonders. connect to the womb that made you a woman.
1. womb journaling.
it’s a way of releasing all the pain you’ve been holding on inside of your womb. a way of asking for forgiveness for dishonouring your womb. listening to the voice of the womb. as you journal, deep seated wounds & concerns will come up.
you must go deep into the memories that your womb has been holding on to. the scene of crime. to those memories where you were abused, insulted, misused. you must face those feelings around your first sexual encounter, your past relationships. these all matter very much.
here are some journal prompts. by answering these alone, you will be releasing a lot of untapped pain. however, please talk to a mental health practitioner if you are called to do so. these are from the book β€˜Sacred Woman’ by Queen Afua (a book every woman must read).
2. celibacy.
during womb renewal work, it’s important to give your womb a period of rest to clear a way for its restoration. this will keep you focused & let your womb go through the healing process with no disturbances. this is your time with the womb. you must honour this time.
3. diet & herbs.
apart from a healing diet of nourishing food, there are certain herbal tonics you can incorporate. ginger, chamomile, saw palmetto berry, ginseng root, licorice root, dandelion, raspberry leaf, nettle are some herbs you can start taking on a regular basis.
these are some basic yet powerful steps you can take to start the healing of your womb. these methods should not replace any medical advice you have received from a health professional.
your womb holds power which has been caged, dormant. as the gatekeepers of life, it’s your responsibility to let go of pain & trauma your womb has held on to. take your life in to your own hands. charge your womb with light. help your sisters & daughters to do the same. 🀍
