23 tips for creators:
1. make what you want to consume
2. find peers on a similar journey
3. believe in your abilities to figure things out h/t @BrendonBurchard
4. imitate than innovate h/t @david_perell
5. respect your audience's attention
6. see inspiration, not jealousy
7. quantity is needed to figure things out, quality is needed to make it work
8. tune up your awareness to get more ideas
9. note down ideas immediately when they come
10. deadline is meaningless without external accountability
11. hard to go back when you experience the leverage internet has
12. save money, have 9-5, it's hard to find your thing with immediate pressure to pay the bills
13. you don't need an office, it's freeing to fit your business in a backpack
14. engage and support others, it's a win-win
15. most people you admire are figuring stuff out
16. before creating, think: what type of emotion i'm trying to evoke from my audience?
17. take your idea and try to present it in a novel way (visuals are great for this)
18. your content needs to be snappy and fast. speed of delivery is important, especially when your credibility is low
19. if they could do this, why not you?
20. your feed is your first impression, make it count
21. generating proof is your best marketing
22. don't overwhelm your audience, it's a path to becoming ignored
23. double down on iteration when things don't work, double down on consistency when things do work
