The Beenie Man flop wasn't a case of bad marketing or marketeers. Problem was the price, and lets not pretend it's rocket science. There's literally been a concert at these venues every other week. In a struggling economy. Something had to give. And many more shows will
flop. Doesn't matter what artiste you bring... Know your target audience. Look at all the shows you say were hits. Truth is, the only reason they were hits was coz they were affordable. People are willing to part with a 30K.
Second reason is... Concerts are getting
Second reason is... Concerts are getting
tired. You've done them. We missed them after two years in lockdown. It worked great for a while. But people are moving on. The people that love the music concert scene are the same. It's very unlikely that right now you're going to seduce a good number of new people to start
going for concerts. Unless the artiste is someone I've been dying to see. But besides that, 60% of the people making it to Cricket Oval any day are the same crowd. But even they can't attend every concert. So expect more bivulu to flop until you give people a breather.
