SOME OF THE EASIEST TOOLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN CRYPTOCURRENCY THAT YOU PROBABLY DON’T KNOW ABOUT & HOW TO USE THEM
A thread 🧵, RT for others
There are tools in the Web 3 space that are very useful but unknown to many, follow me as I take you on a ride of some of these tools.
1. @etherscan Token Revoke: This tool helps you to check & revoke any token approval, maybe you interacted with a DEX & signed an approval…
This indirectly puts your wallet at risk as you have given the DEX/protocol an approval to access some/all of your tokens, it might be very risky if the DEX is an untrusted one.
So how do you revoke approvals? Simply go to etherscan.io & connect your wallet,
You will see the list of all the smart contracts you’ve ever approved to gain access to your wallet, just revoke all the approval, it will cost you a lil gas fee & remember to always do this from time to time as you use your wallet, keeps you safe from wallet drainage.
2. @DeBankDeFi: DeBank is a DeFi dashboard that tracks protocols on more than 40 chains. It provides users with a simple overview of their holdings, positions, outstanding debt on loans and pending rewards. you can also use this to find some liquidity you’ve forgotten about..
In your wallet, it works mostly for EVM chains, you can see all your assets across ETH, BSC, AVAX, FTM, POLYGON, ARBITRUM etc in one page, with one login. You can also use it to track people’s wallet.
To get started, go to debank.com & connect your wallet
3. @wallet_guard: This tool is personally one of my favorite as it has saved me many times, it prevents you from interacting with harmful websites, it safeguards your web browser from any type of malicious activity that can cause a wallet hack.
How does it work? Go to Google..
Extension site & download the extension, Install & pin it on your browser, any time you visit a harmful website, it will give you a risk notification, it will also let you know when your wallet extensions are outdated & you will update it.
They also give Web3 security updates..
On any arising security issue on their Twitter, you can give them a follow and on post notifications. It will help you a lot. They also have an academy that teaches about Web 3 security, Check walletguard.app
4. @tokenterminal: This gives you the tools to evaluate and track the most promising projects. It is basically a data site to look up information on a project (info surrounding revenue, emissions, holder counts, TVL, fees etc)
To use this tool go to tokenterminal.com
5. @DappRadar: This tells you how frequent people are using a decentralized application or protocol, it also lets you see top projects (tokens/NFTs) on each chain & in general, it lets you see the activity of each DEX, Marketplaces & protocols. You can also use this tool to…
track & analyze wallets & also sign up for some airdrops. It is also useful for builders that wants to build a dapp, they also give reports on the general cryptocurrency industry. It is an all in one tool.
To use this, go to dappradar.com
It is pretty nice how all of these tools are free, the crypto industry provides lots of opportunities for any type of person whether OGs or newbies.
