@Ugrashravas @HelpedByIndra @pvaal2 बोभवीतु is यङ्लुगन्त, not यङन्त
@Ugrashravas @HelpedByIndra @pvaal2 यङ्लुगन्त forms are different from यङन्त. Remember this example?

@Ugrashravas @HelpedByIndra @pvaal2 The same principle regarding न लुमताङ्गस्य overriding प्रत्ययलोपे प्रत्ययलक्षणम् for लुक्, लुप् etc. applies here.
@Ugrashravas @HelpedByIndra @pvaal2 The यङ् which gives rise to the dhatu बोभूय (which is considered a dhatu due to सनाद्यन्ता धातवः) is ङित् so अनुदात्तङित आत्मनेपदम् will gives us त via तङानावात्मनेपदम्. Then by टित आत्मनेपदानां टेरे we get ते and by आमेतः the ए becomes आम् for लोट्, so बोभूयताम्
@Ugrashravas @HelpedByIndra @pvaal2 But the dhatu बोभू is not ङित् due to the लुक् of यङ् so we will get तिप् instead of त, which becomes तु in लोट् by एरुः. Since तिप् is पित् and there is no शप् intervening we can optionally apply यङो वा and get बोभवीतु optionally in addition to बोभोतु.
@Ugrashravas @HelpedByIndra @pvaal2 You may ask why the rule is stated as यङो वा and not यङ्लुको वा if it only applies to यङ्लुक् and not यङ्. I'm not sure to be honest, lol. 😝
