1.Always be applying. The more scholarships you apply to, the less hurt you will feel when that rejection email comes in because you are waiting for other results
2.Spread out your risks. Apply to different types of opportunities with varied eligibility criteria; fully funded, partially funded, tuition waivers etc
3.Use other strategies. If you can afford it, apply for regular admissions in the first year (competition is less) and after you travel abroad, you can apply for university or domestic scholarships
4.Have a support group. Friends with a common goal of studying abroad. You can support each other when those rejection mails come in
