Here are 10 simple things I did to get here:
1/ Built the habit of writing
I started by writing 5 tweets a day.
Today I write for 30–60 minutes a day.
Anyone can write 5 tweets a day.
Don’t wait to get started.

2/ Educate people
Pick 3 topics you want to be known for.
Research the topics.
Post tweets about these topics.
People want to feel they’re learning.
So show them how to do what you do.

3/ Document your progress
This is the easiest way to create content.
Because your day to day *is* the content.
And what this means is to…
Write about your current wins and losses.
For example:
Every Friday I send a newsletter with 5 things I discovered during the week.

4/ Echo yourself
Repetition is the key to learning.
It’s also the key to educating your audience.
Repeat your ideas often.
But do it with:
• different words
• curious angles
• new stories

5/ Tell people what to do
Tell them to follow you and join your newsletter.
Do it often by adding a CTA (call to action) to your tweets.

9/ Ignore trends—focus on human nature
Human nature never changes.
Everyone wants:
1. Comfort
2. Approval
3. Feel superior
4. Enjoyment of life
5. Sexual companionship
We’re programmed to seek these.
Tap into them.

10/ Get your hooks right
Hooks get people's attention.
They’re the first tweet in each of your threads.
Or the first line of your tweets.
If you craft them well...
You'll get tons of retweets and likes
