What is so wearing about current timeline, more than anything else, is the unbearable stupidity of all messaging and policy. This was always a thing but it really kicked into high gear with Corona and shows no signs of ever stopping.

From the moment you wake up, it's just a wall of solidly idiotic regime talking points and memes all day long until you collapse from the exhaustion of it all and go to sleep. Then you wake up tomorrow and it's more turbo stupidity until the next day.

Nothing anybody anywhere says can turn this off or redirect it or even moderate it slightly, it's a just a massive firehouse spewing putrid idiocy into your face every waking moment, without any purpose, none of it means anything, nobody cares, everyone's fine with this.

My last years in American academia were like this. Everybody just saying stupid shit all the time, it was so exhausting, so I left. Fuck those idiots, let them have their horrifying perverted upside-down barney and friends kingdom. LOL joke's on me, whole world is like this now
