There's a certain condescendion in the expression "imagine taking twitter advice" that I find utterly distasteful. A lot of people don't know better. Twitter is a place to interact with others; in doing this you learn stuff. Granted, not every advice is from a pure place, however
It's also your job to weigh the pros and cons of each advice you receive against your principles and make a decision. You're not supposed to take it all in but I assure you there's lots of sound advice in this space. So much goes on in the DMs many of you will never know.
People are really hurting from bad relationships, parents, friends, work and life generally. They need someone to talk to who won't judge them but offer a listening ear and probably proffer a solution but here y'all are, mocking a young man for revealing his situation.
His babe giving another man her number, having discussions even up to the point of telling him her problems and getting money too all in the space of three weeks is a thing of concern no matter how you spin it. The advice to leave her is valid. Mock it all you want.
It's mostly women saying nothing is going on between them and that's not surprising because that's how many of them are; lacking understanding of boundaries until they're on the receiving end. Asking a lady for her number is bad but giving a man yours is acceptable.
You liking half naked pictures of girls on social media is bad but her posting these pictures is okay and if you complain, you're insecure. Always wanting to have their cake while eating it. Check disrespect immediately, male or female; it would save you future stress.
This is the same girl you people are saying is doing nothing that he should disregard "twitter advice" for right? Not the least bit surprised actually. It's exactly how many of you roll in real life. Enjoy.
