All tales of the cannibal witch (eg, Hansel & Gretel) have an element of this. The child is tempted to retreat from maturity into the comfortable embrace of mama (gingerbread house, etc) but eventually realize mama wants to devour them.
Hansel and Gretel was inspired by the tales that arose from intermittent famines in central Europe. Parents who could not feed all of their children would turn some of them out to fend for themselves, and desperate cannibals preyed on them.
