Most B2B About pages suck.
But, if you follow these 5 frameworks, I guarantee yours won’t:
1/ Headline:
The about page isn’t really about you. It’s about them.
You start with the same type of headline that you have for the homepage:
→ Who’s this for?
→ What’s this for?
2/ Story:
A simple one.
You had a problem (similar to the reader), couldn’t find an adequate solution, so you built one.
It’s a case study story, but for the founder.
3/ Team:
We want the credentials on your leadership team, but don’t load us up with their CVs.
A link to their LinkedIn profile works (that they keep up to date).
→ Bonus point:
B2B doesn’t mean we can’t be fun. People want to work with happy people.
4/ Values:
We don’t care about your in-house culture or office dog. We care about what you do for us.
Share a handful of values that reflect your ethos on helping the client.
5/ Credibility:
Include any social proof that isn’t a customer testimony.
TL;DR The B2B about page framework:
1/ Headline
2/ Story
3/ Team
4/ Values
5/ Credibility
