Call of Duty is a military/government psyop.
Military documents show how the Dept of Defense works closely with COD producers to make them more "credible advocates" for the US war machine.

A number of key Activision Blizzard staff came straight from the national security state.
e.g. Chief Admin Officer Brian Bulatao, was 3rd in command of the CIA until 2018.
Then there's Fran Townsend, formerly GW Bush's senior nat sec advisor & one of the faces of the War on Terror and the surveillance state.
She helped popularized the term "enhanced interrogation techniques" and alledgedly had a hand in ramping up the torture program at Abu Ghraib
In 2018, the Air Force flew a Call of Duty producer out to its HQ with the express intention of making her a "more credible advocate" for the US war machine.
And in 2010, the Dept of Defense's objections to the storyline of an upcoming Call of Duty game got the entire project permanently canned.
Some of Call of Duty's missions are pure propaganda.
The new game's first mission has you killing Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, just as the Trump administration did in 2020.
Meanwhile, other games have missions where you have to kill Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez.
Call of Duty also whitewashes US war crimes.
For example, in Call of Duty Modern Warfare, the infamous "Highway of Death" war crime is recreated.
But instead of US troops wantonly slaughtering Iraqis, in the game it's Russians.
