@Hadithoftheday Reward as that of "One who fights in the cause of Allah".
Abu Hurayrah R.A reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: "The one who looks after the widow and the needy person is like the one who fights in the cause of Allah." (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)

@Hadithoftheday The believers are protectors of one and other. So when one finds those in need, such as the orphans and the widows, one should strive to help them.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"And they feed, for the love of Allah, the poor, the orphan, and the captive..." [Surah al-Insaan:8]
