@PoiLoam 2. One group has a lot of financial interest tied to pharma - the regulators, the ones that receive fundings from pharma for research, the hospital committees etc. so when they are in powerful positions they can influence things like taking away medical licenses of dissenters.
@PoiLoam 3. But its not coordinated - people in the industry are divided into camps.
@PoiLoam 4. Supplements is a wide topic… most of the supplements you see like multivits (eg. pfizer’s centrum) …they don’t really move the needle much in terms of health unless you are severely deficient in some vitamins due to existing conditions or diet..etc
@PoiLoam 6. The dosings are very important - high dose vitamin C - 3-5 grams work really well on strengthening your immune there are many studies on it. However, most of the vitamins you see in the shelf or multi vitamins have really low dose of Vit C and many other crap… maybe just 50mg
@PoiLoam 7. Most vitamins hardly move the needle at all in terms of health - because most people today overconsume food so they have more vitamins than necessary most of the time. But if you are on specific diet like Carnivore, then you need to supplement with B12 etc. Every case differs
@PoiLoam 8. Turmeric and Black pepper is an amazing antioxidant… most stuffs are natural. If you really wanna go for shelf vitamins, look for whole food vitamins. The rest are just cement pills ..
