How The US Army Discovered that Long Hair can Increase your Wisdom and Intuition.
An Esoteric Thread for Men.
Throughout history long hair has had a spiritual significance amongst various cultures.
Long hair is often associated with wisdom, divine intuition, and strength.
It's no coincidence that the men of history with the most wisdom and strength are shown to have had long hair.
The story I'm going to share is going to be considered a 'myth' or 'urban-legend' by some.
I choose to believe it's real, because I choose to live as though the world is still full of mysticism and wonder.
(Because it is)
Now onto the story.
The story starts back in the Vietnam War.
The Army Special Forces was looking for expert trackers and survivalists to assist with the war effort in the jungle.
The Vietnamese style of Guerilla warfare was something that hadn't been encountered in traditional warfare before.
The Army was stumped on how to counter it, so they began to look for answers in unusual places.
Native American tribes have been renowned throughout history for their tracking and survival abilities.
Some have even described these abilities as 'Supernatural.'
The Army caught wind of this lore and began to recruit the best of the best Native American scouts and trackers from the reservations across the United States.
Once they enlisted, they went through basic training and standard Army protocols.
One of the protocols that all Army recruits must go through is, of course, to shave their heads.
So per the protocol, the Native American scouts shaved their hair, which in most cases had never even been cut or trimmed before.
Then, something miraculous happened.
The highly-touted supernatural tracking and scouting abilities of the Native American recruits...
They disappeared.
The recruits failed to perform in the field, time and time again.
The Army began to test different theories with new recruits, letting some of the recruits keep their long hair while others shaved.
The long-haired recruits continued to outperform the shaved-head recruits time and time again.
It's almost as though their hair was an extension of their Nervous System.
An antenna, giving them access to a subtle but crucial sixth sense.
After these discoveries, the Native American trackers were exempt from shaving their heads upon recruitment.
This story supposedly came from the wife of a psychologist who worked in the VA Medical Hospital.
He was generally a conservative, well-groomed man.
According to his wife, after discovering these semi-classified Army documents he never cut his hair or shaved his beard again.
Since learning of this story and reading other esoteric theories regarding long hair, I've been experimenting myself, doing a *little* flowmaxxing.
Still have quite a ways to go before my sixth sense starts to kick in!

What are your thoughts?
Are you going to write it of as an Urban Legend?
Or is it possible that our hair gives us extrasensory capabilities that have been lost and forgotten with time?
