Go to your shaykh and say, “I’ll go but on the condition that you come with me too.”
They entice the youth towards ‘Jihad’ while they stay behind and don’t participate. Always remember there is no giving preference in acts of obedience.
The infamous and hypocritical advocate for Jihad in Iraq was Salman al-‘Awdah. He would incite youth to head off to Iraq for Jihad but when his own son decided to go. He weepingly begged and appealed to the Interior minister to stop his son from going.
