@Rtam86418021 @assuwatama The oldest inscriptions which show most of the characteristic features of Magadhi are the Jogimara cave inscription. It's not only more characteristic of proper grammatical Magadhi than the Ashokan inscriptions, but in some cases even closer than dramatic Magadhi.
