Give me 2 mins and I’ll show you how you can earn $1000 in the FIRST month of freelancing (without taking a course):
1/ Pick a niche
Find what you are good at and master it.
Know the ins and out of it.
Master it so well that you start enjoying it.
2/ Use the right tools
Right tools make your work 10 times easier.
Some of the tools I use are:
- @sosimplified
- @clickup
- @NotionHQ
- @Grammarly
- @HubSpot
- @todoist
- @Razorpay
3/ Cold DM
There’s nothing better than cold emailing and DMing people in your industry.
This is legit the best way to get leads for your freelancing journey. Send DMs to at least 10 people every day.
I cold DMed one of my favorite creators and this is how it went:
4/ Engage and Research
Before you cold DM any creator or founder, make sure you engage with their content for a month.
Research about what they like, what they do, and how they create content. Find some pain points and pitch them accordingly.
5/ Packages
Make 2-3 freelance packages for your clients.
1 - standard package ($300-500)
2- medium package with add-ons ($500-$800)
3- customized package ($800-$1000)
Get 2-3 clients and you're at $1000. 🎉
Tip: Don’t send the same template package to every client.
6/ Add ons
This is my all-time favorite tip.
Once you send them your package rates, always threw some add-ons when you get on a zoom call.
Add-ons help you get the clients faster and make them feel valued and heard as well.
But this is only 50% of it.
The other half includes:
- good communication
- better presentation and
- great system.
Don't take shortcuts.
Follow this for 30 days and you will get your FIRST client.
I hope this was helpful.
If it was, RT the first tweet and follow me @ShwetaKukreja_ for more threads on freelancing and marketing.
