I heard this recently from a “hard-core C++ programmer“
And it’s simply not correct.
And it’s simply not correct.
Sure I’m not out there creating self-driving cars (neither is he).
But if I take a look at just a small sample of my personal accomplishments…
I’m finding that it looks like I’m more of a programmer than he knows.

A couple vanity metrics (I really don’t like these but in this case they prove a point)…

2. I’ve amassed 737 followers
3. 5 awards

I did all of this…
All while “not being a programmer”
(And using the programmers Number 1 tool for version controlling code.)
So don’t believe everything you hear.
