Gratitude is the foundation that you need to build a better life upon.
If you struggle with finding gratitude, open this thread:
Would you like to access a super-power you can tap into easily every single day?
Which can really uplift, motivate and empower yourself all in a few short minutes?
All you need is a pen and a notepad.
And a will to commit to the practice on a daily basis.
'Gratitude', said the Roman orator and statesman Cicero,
'It's not only the greatest of all virtues, but the parent of all the others'.
We live in a virtue-signaling culture, where virtue is sorely misplaced.
Cicero however tells us not to seek other people's approval, but rather to foster our sense of inner virtue by exercising gratitude at all times.
Which can then lead to fruitfulness in all other areas of life.
A gratitude journal is the very best way of exercising your gratitude muscle.
Put the date on top of each page, followed by:' Today, I'm thankful for...'
And make a list of things you are thankful for that day, however small or insignificant they may be...
Update it throughout your day, or alternatively, write your list before going to sleep.
It's important to hand-write this rather than automatically reaching for your mobile phone or iPad.
There's a significant connection between meaningful statements you write in your own hand with the intuitive part of your mind.
I started my gratitude journal after suffering a bad episode with my mental health.
It's truly transformed my outlook on life over the past few years, and I genuinely look forward with anticipation to writing my gratitude list every single day now.
Quite simply, it signals to your brain to expect good things to happen to you. All the time.
Gratitude then becomes your permanent identity in life.
That sense of gratitude only intensifies if you take a look back at your previous gratitude journals from time to time.
It's just phenomenal how many yearnings, intuitions and insights I've given thanks for in these journals..
Then actually manifested in some shape or form.
So, if you want to experience a sense of peace, provision and potential in your life.
Start a gratitude journal today.
You'll soon see all its amazing benefits.
And you'll wonder how you ever managed life for so long without keeping one.
Thank you for reading
