Mostly there are three kinds of Shops. Garments, Jewellery & Meat Shops. An inexplicable trend is the sheer number of Hole in the wall jewellery shops, with security ensured by First World War equipment, almost like βasking for itβ to be robbed. Still they thrive. Coz demand.
These stores are omnipresent coz they are pawn shops. In adversity, people get loans by keeping thr family jewellery as collateral. Also Gold stays as the best store of value in low trust environments.

There is Metro construction going on, choking the single lane roads. The pillars often dwarfed by the huge hoardings either side filled with 175 passport sized faces, AIR 27 NEET/JEE. The ppl which the Metro wishes to transport, are already preparing to board other city metros :)
