I’ve published over 800 blog posts and they bring in 1 million visits p/m
People struggle to publish 50 articles (that get traffic) for their entire blog but I’ve thought of 800+
The secret?
Using these 5 KW research methods🧵👇🏾
1. Creating variations of my best performing blog posts
I look at what is performing well in Google Analytics and I swap out the brand name
For example, if ‘Ford Screen Won’t Turn On’ is doing well, I’d write ‘Toyota Screen Won’t Turn On’.
This can turn 1 blog post into 7
2. Thinking of KWs myself
Let’s say I’m in the travel niche.
I’d think back to places I’ve visited recently.
E.g. Amsterdam
Then I think of places/things I saw
E.g. Canals of Amsterdam
Then I think of a topic based on that
E.g. How Deep Are Amsterdam Canals?
3. Forum Hijacking
I’ve stolen tons of KWs from forums like Quora and Reddit.
It works well because it’s easy to outperform forums in the SERPs since they’re seen as a low quality result in most cases
This KW research method is only good for specific niches
4. Stealing competitors KWs using tools
I plug competitors with a similar or a lower DR into SemRush.
I filter all their KWs based on a specific criteria, then I write about the KWs I’m 80% confident will get traffic.
It’s impossible to be 100% sure.
5. Looking through my competitors blogs
I sometimes scan my competitors blogs and look for blog posts that have comments.
If these comments occurred recently, I’ll know the topic is doing well
If you’re having trouble with KW research or anything else stopping your niche site from growing, we’ll tell you EXACTLY how to fix it.
We’ll also write up a detailed document on how to take your SPECIFIC niche site to $5k to $10k p/m 👇🏾
