Today, EU's Von der Leyen announced:
"It's estimated that more than 20,000 civilians and more than 100,000 Ukrainian military officers have been killed so far"

EU's Deputy chief spokeswoman Dane Spinant explained that "the inaccuracy" was meant to show how brutal Russia is.
Spinant: "The estimation used, from external sources, should have referred to casualties, i.e. both killed and injured, and was meant to show Russiaβ€˜s brutality"

Kiev Independent also tweeted Dana Spinant's clarification of Von der Leyen's statement about the "more than 100,000" dead Ukrainian military officers.
The press head of Ukraine's Army Bohdan Senyk, repeated that casualty figures are a matter of "operational secrecy".

So many western politicians stupidly, still site Bucha, as an example of Russian brutality, when most of the Bucha dead are more likely pro-Russian "collaborators" brutally executed by Ukraine forces.

Besides mentioning the 100,000 dead Ukrainian military officers, EU's Von der Leyen proposes setting up a UN-backed specialized court to investigate/prosecute "Russia's crime of aggression". Seems the court's aim is to legalize stealing Russia's money.
