If you are surprised that there's so many boda accidents then you're obviously not into riding bikes or have a motorbike. I ride a

motorbike and when we're in groups with fellow bikers, we remind each other of how every single time we get on that road, we're risking it all. Yes, perhaps there's wrecklessness involved with bodas. And yes, perhaps there's breaking of traffic regulations. But am sorry to tell

you that accidents are very much a two-wheeler thing. Be it a bicycle or a motorcycle. It's basic physics. Whatever little thing can go wrong because you don't have the leverage, balance and safety of four wheels and aren't closed in a protective metallic shield.

Truth is if you've got a motorbike or considering to get one, there's a 40% chance that you'll have an accident. Not all of them are going to be serious or will injure you. But expect it. Just a random rock thrown by a kid in the middle of the road will trip you. It's that easy.
