I need a recommendation. I have these $10 drugstore reading glasses on because they collapse super thin in my pocket, are durable, & look ok. They actually look better in this pic than IRL… IRL they look kinda like $10 drugstore glasses. So I need something like this, but nicer.
I got these at the pharmacy at HEB. They’re pretty jank. But like, they fit a need, so I really like them. I just need something that fits the same need but is less jank and more upmarket. Again tho, they have to collapse and be thin + flexible so I can slip them in my pocket.
You can see in this shot how thin and flexible they are in the case. Super great, if only I didn’t feel like a retiree in them.
I have some Orgreens that I really love, but they’re beat up & I haven’t worn them in years. So I may get another pair of those. But they’re titanium and not thin + flexible. The killer feature of these drugstore glasses is thinness + flexibility, b/c I only need them for reading
I literally only pull them out of my pocket and put them on when I need to read something. Otherwise I don’t need them. That’s the source of the pocketability requirements. I think a lot of ppl are recommending glasses you wear all the time, which isn’t what I need.
Oh, I also need more hair and more sleep. Not there’s a solve for the former tho, and the latter is an ongoing struggle.
To clarify, I have really nice prescription computer glasses with all the coatings and titanium and so on. But I can’t exactly cram those into my front pocket and run around with them. They go in a hard case. I’m strictly looking for a pocketable solution as a complement to those
