Due to the vardan of Devtas and by the grace of Shri Ram, Hanuman ji cannot be harmed by any Astra. Hanuman ji is always absorbed in bhakti of the Prabhu and always chants the name of Shri Ram.
But to protect his bhakts and to protect dharma, Hanuman ji also keeps divine astra with him. Every part of his body is like a divine Astra. He has killed many Rakshasas with his teeth, his nails, his tail and with punches. That is why Hanuman ji is also called Bajrangbali.
In the scriptures, Hanuman ji is said to be adorned with ten astras. Khadga, Trishul, Khatwang, Pash, Parvat, Ankush, Stambh, Mushti, Mace and Tree. There is always a mace in the left hand of Hanuman ji 'वामहस्तगदायुक्तम्'. In Skanda Purana, Hanuman ji is also called 'वज्रायुध'.
During the war, Hanuman ji destroyed Ravan's divine chariot with a single blow of the mace.
