What makes people refuse to better themselves?
I know a woman. A mommy.
She is a stay at home mom. Her husband is in the army.
She has four beautiful children. A small but comfortable home. Two cute dogs.

Every morning the mom gets up and feeds the dogs.
She wakes the kids and gets them ready for school.
Her husband is away, so she has to do everything herself.

She walks the kids to schools.
She cleans the home.
She cooks food.
She washes clothes.
She walks the dogs.
She then picks up the kids from schools.
She feeds the kids.
She calls her husband and chats with him about her day.

She bathes the kids, plays with them, feeds them dinner and puts them to bed.
Sometimes she becomes overwhelmed and cries.
But she never complains.
She never yells at her children even when theyβre rambunctious.

I have never seen this woman go to a gym. Take art lessons. Or read a self-improvement book.
I have not seen her try to even change her hairstyle. Or learn a new skill.

Yet, sheβs one of the most beautiful people I know. And one of the people I respect and admire the most. In fact, she had just adopted a little abandoned baby.
Some people are all about others. They donβt care about themselves. And they focus their bettering for others.
