The case of revoking the @tvrain licence in Latvia is a crucial step to recognise the hybrid impact of Russian narratives in Europe. It would be also a test whether EU-partners take Latvia’s security concerns serious enough not to provide a platform for this kind of “journalism”

Moreover, TV Rain is going to be banned from Youtube by imposing a geoblock on its content for users in Latvia.
Russian journalists can distance thmslvs from the putin and his regime, but they still identify thmslvs as part of russian society that support the russian army, see Crimea as its belonging and believe in russia’s power over others.
Time to learn what it means to live and work under the rule of law and respect other countries.

And before they did not see the point in learning the local language of a country that provided them residence and work permits.
