I’ve been thinking about a work component that could never be concealed.
No flashy words or shiny titles could play a trick on it.
And I think it’s *maturity*.
Maturity at work is a mixture of rich & relevant experience, wise decisions, deep knowledge, and benevolence.

Surely benevolence is a good indication of maturity. It’s a signal if one realizes s/he’s working with human being.
It’s also a signal of a secured self. One doesn’t only know his/her/their capacity and capability, but proactively* seek chances to strategically apply them.

Deep understanding & rich experience will support maturity. It’s the basis of how one prevents and solves problems.
It relates to how one makes judgment. This is so crucial bcs our “products” are actually decisions.

But to undergo the path to maturity is long and hard. It doesn’t seem so attractive.
However, as I meet various people for the past few weeks, I recognize that those who choose this path seem to have better ‘endurance’ and better view about their own existence.

“We can’t afford not to care.” That’s what they said.
A short sentence, enough to evoke reflection and many questions inside one’s mind.
