The Ettiques of how to deal with Dreams in Islam
Something All Muslims should know
With evidence from the sunnah
📚Dreams are of three types
1) Dreams of the Nafs , that are general
2) Dreams that are bad and satanic
3) Dreams that are good and from Allah
Good dreams are from Allah ! (الرؤية)
The dreamer must be excited that Allah swt has given him this blessing and it’s good sign of goodness in the dreamer as The prophet ﷺ said that the truer the person is, the truer his dreams will be,especially towards the end of times
Good dreams are from Allah !
1) To Rejoice because it’s a blessing from Allah
2) To tell people about it
3) To thank Allah for it
Bad Dreams (الحُلم) are satanic and from the shaytan and the shaytan is our enemy as Allah swt said {Surely, Shaytan is an enemy to you , so take (treat) him as an Enemy} 35:6 ..
There is a solution from the sunnah and the six Ettiques are as follows
1) Seek refuge in Allah from this Evil dream
2) seek refuge from shaytan , say authobillah
3) Dry spit three times
4) don’t tell anyone about this dream nor seek interpretation
5) switch sides , if your on your left then switch to right or vice-versa
6) pray two Rakaat
Finally when it comes to dreams of the nafs , they are random general ideas and thoughts that naturally come form the persons subconscious or backtracking events from his life
none of which are bad dreams that are from shaytan nor are they the true dreams from Allah
