Putin says that the US has a nuclear doctrine that permits a first strike. “Perhaps we should think about adopting US ideas.” Russias doctrine is retaliation. “Hundreds of missiles (with thousands of warheads) will fly and cannot be stopped. Nothing will remain of the enemy.”

Whoever thinks it’s a good idea to send more weapons to Ukraine is a fool. Not to mention the battlefield planing for Ukraine from the Pentagon. Both the US and Russia have declared that they won’t back down or accept defeat. You don’t have to be a genius to know what that means.
