2022 is ending in 18 days.
This was the best year of my life.

Here are 10 habits I followed this year that increased my happiness:
1. Waking up without an alarm
I let my body get the rest it needs 7 days a week.
My sweet spot is anywhere between 6-8 hours of sleep.
No alarm = no stress and more sleep.

2. Investing 70% of my profits
In order to build generational wealth you need to invest.
I invest 70% of my profits back into my businesses, mentorships and bitcoin.
The more uncomfortable I am the more I grow.

3. Building a better relationship with my girlfriend
We do the morning routine together every morning and eat lunch and dinner together as much as possible.
We also have a non-negotiable date night at least once a week.
Happy wife, happy life.

4. Sun exposure
I get 30 min to 1 hour of sun every day.
Sunlight is vital for:
- Sleep
- Vitamin D
- Reducing stress
- Fighting depression
No matter where you live, get outside and get that sun exposure.

5. Walking
I put this after “sunlight” because depending on where you live you can kill two birds with one stone.
I walk 1-2 miles minimum every day.
For me movement = creativity.
I get some of my best ideas walking.
Also, a great time to listen to podcasts.

6. Calling friends
Once a week I call a friend and catch up.
This is a great time to practice listening.
Also, a great time to offer advice to one another.
You don’t need 20 friends, I have no more than 5 that I call.

7. Spending time with family
I live in FL, my parents live in NJ and my sisters live in AZ.
So realistically I only get to see them less than 5% of the year.
That's why I invest a lot of time, money and energy on family vacations.
I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

8. Fasting
I do a 24-48 fast once per month.
Fasting is incredible for:
- Reducing inflammation
- Boosting cognitive performance
- Decreasing your risk of metabolic disease
Start with a juice cleanse then work your way up to water only fasts.

9. Traveling
Seeing the world at a young age shaped who I am today.
I will not wait to grow old and travel when I’m “retired”.
Instead, I plan on visiting as many countries as possible in my 20s.
I never regretted a single trip I’ve taken in my life.

10. Hobbies
- Golf
- Tennis
- Surfing
- Skateboarding
These activities put me in a flow state and help me feel like a kid again.
Life is meant to be fun.
Make sure you leave time to enjoy.
