Need more DNA samples of 96K Marathas from Maharashtra. Think there are none currently. The ones from Narasimhan study are from South India so not even representative.
Kayasthas are another UC caste that is very undersampled, along with Marathi Brahmins of different kinds. No samples from these people. If you are a Marathi Brahmin or Kayastha and have done a DNA test, could you comment below if you are willing to share results with me?
From this stuff here, it looks like Bengali Kayasthas are distinct from Bengali Brahmins and probably have much less West Eurasian ancestry than them.
