For the first time in 60 years, Russia has loaded a nuclear missile in one of its closest silos closest to the West. And America is sending Patriot missiles to Europe. A nuclear war brewing? Unlikely. But if it were to happen, here's how as a Ugandan you would be affected:
1. There would be no more international trade. There would be no new shipments of cars, clothes, shoes, foodstuff, we wouldn't be able to export, all fuel reserves would eventually run out and we would have to stop using cars and bodas at some point.
2. International trade would stop because air travel and certainly water-based travel would almost entirely come to a halt. No flight zones would be declared so military planes can control the skies and any other passenger or cargo plane could be shot down. So all your pals
or family that are overseas would be stuck there during what would eventually turn into a World War. Chances of ever seeing them again would be slim to none.
3. Famine. People mostly forget how many ingredients or food products of your daily use are just shipped in. Herbs that

make Royco. Yeast and baking powder for your bread and cakes. There would be so many disruptions in the food chain, food prices would go up, and eventually everything would be unaffordable or scarce.

progress and Innovations we've made in telecommunications, it's networks, information processing equipment, ground satellites and facilities are all rather basic. They are run by men who monitor cables and press buttons on monitors. During war, these facilities would
be prime targets in order to maim and disable each other's ability to communicate and eventually would be destroyed. Our telecommunications companies all piggyback on telecommunications systems and satellites abroad. We would eventually experience a systems backout. No twitter.
5. Death. Such a war's direct consequences to medical care would be disastrous. Uganda produces only 7% of the drugs available and in circulation in all medical stores, hospitals, clinics. Those flu and cough meds you've always taken for granted would eventually run out.
ARVs would run out. Asthma medications. Heart medications. Pain killers. Menstrual Pads would too. Sedatives, anesthesia, paralytics, anticoagulants all used in surgery would be gone. Antibiotics would be gone. Almost every single person wd lose a loved one.
