Attended the cultural programme presided by Hon Minister @MPLodha Sir. He was gracious enough to participate in some wonderful performances and dances by the locals. He also officially inaugurated the caravans of @motohomcaravans @maha_tourism @HelloMTDC

Then we went for village tour where we had lunch at a local home. This was a great experience & food was delicious. To get an opportunity to spend some time with locals, to relish simple food made by them in their homes. Donβt get to do this often.

We had an opportunity to walk around the village and of course make some photographs. Some kids showing their skills. There was a poser too!

During night, we got to watch a football match on the screen with a projector under the open skies! Post dinner tea was great too. And the moments spent under the sky, watching the stars, feeling the breeze tells me I will go back again!

I asked my friend, why he chose Jawhar, which is not a tourist spot. His views amazed me. He said it is a tribal and a backward area, and malnutrition is rampant. Tourism and spending money there, is the only way to improve life of the locals. #Jawhar
