Want to become mentally stronger?
Avoid these 8 habits that are making you mentally weak :
1. A negative mindset :
If you are always thinking about the worst case scenario, have surrounded yourself with negative people, can't stop complaining, have a problem with everything.
You are going to crumble under the tiniest amount of stress .
2. Poor Posture:
Studies show that sitting straight increases positive attitude, reduce fatigue, and decrease self-focus.
My grandfather used to say only people who are ashamed walk with their head down.
Chin up, pull those shoulders back and walk straight.
3. Day dreaming:
Are you a day dreamer? Are all your goals achieved in dreams.
Only fantasizing about your goals without taking any concrete steps to achieve them is not going to take you anywhere.
You Day Dream --> You Do Not Achieve--> You Feel Sad -->You Repeat
4. Keep everything bottled up :
You can't express yourself. Whatever excuse you may have, the truth is you do not know how to convey what you feel.
You bottle up your feelings and then either you feel depressed or take it out on the wrong person
5. Feel sorry for yourself:
Had a setback? Fine . Spend a day feeling sorry about yourself.
Stop whining "Why it is happening to me God ? What did I do to deserve this ?
You are not getting any answer to those questions.
Till you are alive there will always be a next time.
6. Worrying about what others say and do
When the objective of your life is to please others, you will never achieve your own personal life and ambitions.
You will always be stressed and unhappy because you are at the mercy of others.
7. Not Exercising:
No surprise here.
Cannot have a healthy mind in an unhealthy body. Not possible.
Your self-esteem , self-respect and confidence skyrockets when you are physically & mentally fit .
8. Not meditating :
Meditation is like a gym for your mind.
Meditating = Training your mental muscle.
Meditation changes your brain and increases the parts of the brain which are related to problem-solving, mental resilience, and emotion regulation.
