I've f*cked up a lot in life.
Physically, mentally and financially.
Here are x mistakes I've made and the lessons I've learnt to help you avoid them.
1. Don't let a wishbone replace a backbone. If you want something, sitting there and doing nothing isn't going to bring it any closer to you
2. Don't be a jack of all trades. Yes knowing how to do multiple things is fine. But focus on one speciality and go all out with it.
3. Never let someone bad mouth you twice. The first time isn't your fault. But there shouldn't be an opportunity for a second.
4. Trust very few. You'd be surprised at how many of your 'friends' would turn on you in multiple situations. Choose your circle carefully.
5. Don't stop at the first hurdle. If you're doing something new, chances are, you're gonna screw up. But that doesn't mean you'll always screw it up.
6. Skip higher education. College is 100% useless unless you're going into law or medicine. Opt for self-education instead.
7. Talk to as many people as possible. Don't be the shy person in the room with their head down. Make conversation with everyone. It's about who you know.
8. Never skip out on free advice. So what it's not relevant to you now? So what you already know it? Take the advice.
9. Don't be too nice. There's a difference between being nice and being a pushover. Being overly nice in situations where you shouldn't gains you nothing.
10. Put yourself first always. It's not selfish, it's necessary. How are you gonna help others if you never help yourself?
11. Start the gym as early as possible. It's one of the best environments to put yourself in and one of the best things you'll ever do for yourself.
12. Tame your ego. Ego isn't bad. Activating your Ego when you don't need to can screw up more situations than it can better.
13. Say no more often than you should. People pleasing will get you into situations you never intended to be in. A simple "No" will save you a lot of hassle.
14. Don't be afraid to screw up. You're human, you'll mess up a lot. But what's most important is you stand back up.
15. Don't skip investing. Crypto, stocks and dividends will set you free. Money sat in a savings account deflating is what they want for you. Put it to work.
16. Stop neglecting your health. No sun, vitamins, cardio, lifting or good food will take its toll. Take care of you.
17. You're not weak for changing opinions. If what you think now is different to what you thought before, you're developing as a person.
18. Don't be afraid of taking the solo path. Following the herd makes you a duplicate. Every person who became great, went their own way.
19. "If sleep were a drug, it would be the most illegal drug on the planet". Sleeping more is one of the greatest things you can do for yourself.
20. Don't agree with everyone. Just because everyone agrees, it doesn't make it correct. Disagree more.
21. Don't neglect reading. Yes, it may seem boring but that's because society tells you it is. Pick a good book, fiction or non-fiction and force yourself to finish it.
22. Learn about programming. Not coding, but societal programming. The sooner, the easier it is to escape.
23. Understand that the system is designed to keep you a slave. Unhealthy bodies, processed foods, weak minds. That's what they want. Don't stay in the loop.
24. Talk to more people in the gym. The gym holds some of the most knowledgeable fitness people. Plus you gain gym bros.
25. Delete Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok if you only use them for consumption. Totally fine if you make money from them or grow a brand with them. Otherwise, they're dopamine theieves.
26. Never stop learning. To cease living is to cease existing.
27. Never ever reveal how much money you have or how much money you make. It will 100% be used against you in the form of jealousy or hatred.
28. You may want what your heart wants but you must go with what your brain suggests. Gut instincts are messages from your soul.
29. Speak about how you feel. To a friend, to a stranger to a family member. It's better to be helped by 1 than be carried by 6.
30. Spend more time with your elders. Even if it's a few times a month. Most never allocate time to it and it ends as one of our biggest regrets.
31. Learn how to read the room. Read body language, facial expressions, tone of voice. Comes with experience but you'll know exactly how to behave and speak.
32. Don't forget your day ones. You may not speak as much as before but it's important to know that they've stuck there.
33. Stop worrying about rejection. The answer will always be "no" if you don't pursue it. Talk to the person, apply for the role, ask for the number.
34. The biggest regret you'll ever have is not pursuing what sets your heart on fire.
35. Stop spending money you don't have to impress people who you don't even like. May seem cool right now but I promise you'll think "What a waste" when they're out of your life.
36. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. It's a sign of personal growth and development.
37. Push yourself. Physically or mentally. Most of us quit just before failure, not knowing that the most progress is made just after.
38. Spend money on yourself. Not clothes or cars. But books, mentorships, courses. Self-investments pay the best dividends.
39. Avoid a fight as much as you can, but never back down from it. Don't be the dude who tries to start on everyone. But be the dude who isn't afraid to defend himself when he needs to.
40. On the topic of fighting. Learn a form of martial arts. Great for every aspect of life.
41. Learn a high-income skill as soon as you can. If you want to become financially free, you must work for yourself.
42. The best way to make money online is to teach and sell what you know. People pay for help in the form of services or knowledge.
43. Don't skip leg day. Do you want to look like a flamingo?
44. If you can't see yourself with that person forever, why are you with them right now?
45. Don't chase. Attract. The best things in life are given to you when you're focused on becoming the best version of yourself you can be. Simply work harder and you'll get given what you want.
46. Don't believe every single thing you read online.
47. Don't underestimate the power of zinc and magnesium. 20-30mg of zinc and 500mg of magnesium daily.
48. Stop vaping. $1 chemicals made in some factory going into your lungs will screw you up faster than you click retweet on this thread.
49. If the only time you see your friends is when you go out drinking and clubbing. You aren't friends. Most people have no idea who their 'friends' are unless they're drunk.
50. Wear a f*cking rubber bro.
