AI is NEVER going to replace your Cybersecurity job.
In fact, IT CAN'T.
Let me explain:
In fact, IT CAN'T.
Let me explain:
What is AI?
Artificial Intelligence.
Mathematical models that take in LOTS of data to make new outputs.
So can't it just fix all the security issues?
No.
Not just no, but FUCK no.
And not just FUCK no, but it's impossible.
Here's why:

No.
Not just no, but FUCK no.
And not just FUCK no, but it's impossible.
Here's why:
For an AI to be able to FIX ANY PROBLEM
It needs to be able to ACCESS ANY SYSTEM
And what happens when SOMETHING can access EVERYTHING?
If that thing gets COMPROMISED
EVERYTHING GETS COMPROMISED
It needs to be able to ACCESS ANY SYSTEM
And what happens when SOMETHING can access EVERYTHING?
If that thing gets COMPROMISED
EVERYTHING GETS COMPROMISED
This is the concept of Least Privilege.
Give users (and systems) ONLY the access they need.
But for AI to FIX ANY ISSUE
They need UNIVERSAL ACCESS to EVERYTHING
Which is INSECURE by it's very nature.

In short, your Cybersecurity job isn't going ANYWHERE
And as AI grows
It'll be a tool to help you DO MORE with LESS EFFORT
